Spirit of Georgia

are official preliminaries for the Miss Georgia Pageant and Miss America Pageant. The Miss America Organization is a not-for-profit organization that has maintained a tradition for many decades of empowering American women to achieve their personal and professional goals, while providing a forum for them to express their opinions, talents, and intelligence. The Miss America Organization is the world's leading provider of scholarships for young women.

The Miss Spirit of Georgia and Miss Southwest Georgia Pageants will be held on July 25, 2009 in Bainbridge, GA. The pageants will be held at Bainbridge College at the Charles H.
